ObertGlobal Capital began with the formation of Angel Investors network. A small group of passionate investors saw the opportunity to band together to support innovators to take on the world. Over the decade this grew into an active angel network to raise our first fund. Subsequently we’ve scaled to an early stage venture.
We still have a highly active co-investor network of more than 20 investors and operate a suite of funds with different portfolio strategies. We believe founders build world-class companies and create significant value as an asset class. In 2019 we could attract more seasonal investors to join us as shareholders. They invested in our growth to transform the future by backing the bravest founders for decades to come.
Obert Global Capital originated in 2017 with five principals dedicated to integrity and excellence in Early-stage investing, Venture Capital. Our core expertise of fund management for Renewable Energy, HealthCare, Tourism & Hospitality with an equal emphasis on preserving capital and generating superior returns. We have worked hard to build an investment team and a client base committed to these principles and now we continue to focus. More than half of our employees are investment professionals and the partners are amongst the largest investors in the strategies we run.

This approach means that our strategies are necessarily capacity constrained. However, we have established a loyal and diverse client base and over the long term we have performed well across our strategies.
